After months of closure for renovation, Le Laurent, the iconic restaurant in the 8th arrondissement, reopened its doors in mid-September. Laurent de Gourcuff, the successful founder of the Paris Society group, the new operator of the restaurant since March 2022, invested over 5 million euros to completely renovate the building, which once served as a hunting lodge for Louis XIV. Cordelia de Castellane, the group's artistic director, explains that "it was especially important not to alter anything, just to awaken the enchantment".
Already associated with Mathieu Pacaud at Apicius, just steps from Le Laurent, Laurent de Gourcuff collaborates once again with the 41-year-old Michelin-starred chef to breathe new life into this Parisian institution. Discover elegant and traditional French cuisine, such as Blue Lobster Salad, Confit Cod, or "Filet de bœuf sauce poivre", for an average bill of 70 to 120 euros. Definitely one of the favorite spots of the trendy fashion crowd in the City of Light! Le Laurent is now open six days a week (closed on Sundays). Breakfasts and brunches are planned, as well as special events.
